June is special month around here – it’s David’s birthday!! Actually, it’s June 2nd. We celebrated a little early – over this past weekend with our parents!
For this month’s Michaels Makers challenge – we celebrated with a barbecue birthday dinner.
Happy Birthday balloons (available in store) add a fun, easy decoration.
Chicken and veggie kabobs were a favorite of the night – we marinated the chicken in honey mustard marinade and brushed it with barbecue while grilling. They were really good!
We used our outdoor console table as a buffet. Garden roses and glassware make the perfect floral – I love how the variety of glasses provide interest.
I ran out of time – so I grabbed a fruit tart from the store. Don’t feel bad about picking up a few pre made things – it will give you more time to enjoy your guests!
From glassware, lighting, paper crafts and pre made decorations – Michaels has just about anything that you could want to get ready for your summer gatherings! Putting a little extra effort in will make your event extra memorable.
