It’s hard to believe that it’s almost time for Christmas! I love this time of the year!!
This year, we started our Christmas decorating in my office – with the Michaels Makers Dream Tree Challenge and our new 9′ tree!
We went fairly traditional with the colors and decided to go with a woodland creatures theme. Have you noticed woodland creature ornaments are everywhere this year!? I love them!
We picked up the mini stocking garland from Michaels – as well as supplies to make mini woodland creatures (heads are from the felted wool garland – accented with white pom poms black marker and, wood pieces and sticks)
Finally, we made silhouettes of woodland creatures with balsa wood and our new Cricut Explore Air 2 and we burned the edges with a wood burning tool. LOVE them!
that is beautiful! i need those wooden cutout animals- LOVE them! i had some in my hand at target the other day but i put them back. i may have to take a trip to michaels.
