Hi! Just popping in for a quick update! This weekend, we started working on our barn doors.
David made the doors out of poplar 1x3s and birch plywood. As you can see, we will definitely be painting them (probably white, but I’m open to suggestions!) David will be making the track next (having a welder is handy!!) Since the beams come down right above the door – it isn’t idea for the track, but it will work 🙂
Our faithful project buddy Charlotte was there too 🙂 On the weekends, she’s constantly pawing at us to sit down so she can get on our lap – how can you say no to that face!

I think a nice contrasting color would be great to make the doors pop. Maybe black? Either way can't wait for the reveal! (Tutorial on the track maybe???)
