We decided the last minute to go with the Pax system from Ikea .. a lot easier than build from scratch!

I'm excited to see you used Pax. I am planning to use it too to update out walk in.
We used this in our sons room. He had a deep closet but small in length. It was the perfect solution. Easy to put together and has been great.
