National Make Your Bed Day | Crane & Canopy + Our Guest Room

Today is National Make Your Bed Day! I’m so excited to celebrate with my friends Crane & Canopy and a few blogger friends in a blog hop! If you’ve been following me for more than a year, then you know that Crane & Canopy is one of my favorite bedding sources! You can see my previous posts here, and here.

a few questions!

1. Do you make your bed in the morning? Yes! After I put John down for his nap, I have a routine starting with making the bed, it’s the perfect way to start the day and start checking things off my list.
2. Love or hate a flat sheet? Love! I actually didn’t know that some people don’t use a flat sheet until recently .. I think it helps keep the duvet clean and it doesn’t get tangled, so I’m a fan.
3. What is the perfect amount of pillows for an arrangement on your bed? I typically stack two standard pillows and put a lumbar pillow in front. I added the turquoise pillows for today 🙂 I also like to keep a throw at the foot of the bed for the doggies.
4. Are you a nut like me and iron your bedding or do you have another trick I need to know about? Nope, I feel accomplished if I get everything washed! I love the natural linen of the Crane & Canopy duvet because it has a casual feel and it embraces the wrinkles.
5. What’s on your nightstand? Book? Beauty products? Phone? Snack? I try to keep my nightstand pretty minimal a coaster (old flooring sample) for my water glass at night and my phone.

I love my Crane & Canopy bedding! The quality is amazing, it’s super soft, and wears great! The 100% Belgian linen is soft right out of the package and so so comfy. I have the Lane White Linen set.

The last few weeks have been so hot and humid – it just cooled down to the 60s this week, so I recently pulled the heavier duvet out. I LOVE summer, but I also love heavier bedding! I’ll hold off on the pumpkins for a few more weeks though 🙂
