Hey friends! Just a quick update this week – still lots to do before the reveal next week!! Since last week, we worked on the built in to conceal the support column in the center of the room. I love how it turned out! David added supports in the ceiling for the hanging chair (still need to adjust the rope). We also worked on the wall panels, adding trim on the outside and we will be giving it a subtle stain. I also ordered the top for the coffee table, it’s supposed to be complete next Tuesday (just need to make the base!)
Still need to:
- Complete and paint the built in (shelves to remain wood) Wrap built in on back wall, behind hanging chair?
- Mount TV (should we get the Samsung Frame!? Is it worth it? Or should we just put our old TV there?
- Decide on wallpaper, art, styling, etc.!)
- Stain / complete panels
- Complete coffee table
- Build barn door
- Probably forgetting a few things 🙂
