I had that Dyson vacuum and it only lasted about a year before it didn't charge anymore. 🙁 I was not impressed. I really want the ryobi cordless vacuum that works with ryobi batteries. It's more of a handheld vac though.

I have the Dyson Animal stick vac and I've had it for two years. We have hardwoods and several rugs and it works great for our needs. I haven't had any problems charging it, but it does fill up quickly and has only about a 30 minute charge, so if you're looking into doing a longer job regularly, it might not be the best choice.

I have the animal Dyson cordless and we LOVE it! With 2 dogs and an active household it is a breeze to use, no issues with charging, assembly, etc.
