Hi friends! It’s week 7 of One Room Challenge!! We have to finish our DIY floors and then, one more project – a built in to cover the new HVAC (you can see the unit on the right of the photo below)
Last week was a busy one.
David finished cutting the slats for the top and installed that. We also realized that the wall below just had primer on it, so we took everything down and painted. So we will have to rehang the art and picture light.
David cut the floor. It’s a cube design cut from boards that we had planed down to 1/2″ thick.
I stained them.
I also painted the walls in the loft. The weather has been so nice the past week. LOVED working with the skylight open.
We’re almost done installing the floor. Just need to finish the edges!
