Today I am working on sanding the writing desk … still!
I’ve also been working on finalizing the color scheme for the living room and thought I would share an inspiration image that I selected the color palette from.

Since we are currently living at the beach I wanted something beachy looking, but not too washed out, with bold pops of color
The image was taken at sunset in Muriwai, Auckland, NZ by an artist I found on Flickr, his portfolio is beautiful!
I used Photoshop to select colors directly from the photo to create the color palette on the right. I am looking forward to working on the living room after I finish the bedroom!
Back to sanding … wish me luck!
