I have a question for you!! Help a tired mama out!
One of the most surprising things about having a baby was how to dress them during naps and especially at night. John’s become a little more mobile at night so we’ve transitioned him out of his sleep suit to a sleep sack. Since he’s been in a sleep sack, he’s been semi sleeping on his side, so I definitely think he was ready for a little more freedom. The past few nights have been pretty difficult, he’s been up a lot, I think a combination of getting used to new sleeping arrangements and a little cold. We keep the thermostat consistent, but sometimes he seems too hot or too cold. I just ordered this one and this one (options so I can return one!), it’s a little pricey, but if they can wear it in all seasons for all naps and nights and it helps regulate body temperature, I’m all for it! They both have good reviews, so I’m hopeful! Any tips if you’ve had a similar situation!?  One size adjusts from 2 months to 2 years. Do babies wear sleep suits to bed once they start walking?
This vegan roasted cauliflower bbq pizza look yummy!!

Pretty doors and they sell pretty hardware too!!

I’ve been looking for a cozy sweater, I just ordered this one (most sizes are now sold out, but a few still available) 60% off sale prices at Loft now!!

this one too!

I’m looking for nightstands for our rental – these are cute and affordable!

It's been 20 years since my last baby, but I always put my kids in blanket sleepers at night, over a sleep-n-play outfit. If it was warmer, I'd adjust and have them sleep in some combination of either sleeper with or without a onsie underneath. They always slept through the nights.
At naptime, I just put them down in whatever they were wearing. We always keep our house cool at night too (<65). I don't even know if there were sleep sacks back then, so I'm not much help there.

My little guy is 20 months and still in a sleep sack! He started walking at 14 months and we will keep him in it till we move to a big boy bed…..other mommas say that the sleep sack helps keep them in their crib & makes it hard for them to climb out 🙂 Good luck!!

Thanks! Good to know that they still wear sleep sacks when they start walking!

My "baby" is 13 so I may be out of date! We live in the Chicago area, and in the winter, my kids wore fleece footie pajamas and lighter cotton footed pajamas in the transitional seasons or when in A/C or short cotton jammies when no A/C.

I never changed my kids for naps. They'd sleep in whatever they were wearing with maybe a blanket thrown on top.

Thanks! We tried socks with the sleep n play and sleep sack last night and that was better! Just have to find the right balance!

Hi, I keep my babies in sleep sacks until they are better about blankets. I generally have 3 or 4 on the go one really light weight one (like a sheet) a medium weight and a heavy one for cold nights the I might also have a cheap mid weight one for daycare or wash day. I like the gro bag ones as they are travel ready and don't have shoulder snaps which I was warned against as a SIDS risk as my youngest is a super light sleeper and waked up if I check on him. Anyway I hope this helps

I’ll have to check out the grobag I like the idea of being able to use it with the car seat! Thanks for the tip about snaps I hadn’t heard that yet!

We love sleep sacks! I've always used the Halo sleepsacks, either a cotton one or a fleece one depending on temperature/what they were wearing. We've loved them! They also have one that has holes for feet once they start walking if wanted. But, I have a friend that has used the merino ones that you purchased and she raves about them!

The wool ones had such good reviews I figured it was worth a try! We used the fleece sleep sack last night with socks and sleep n play and it seemed to work better!!
