Inspired by our current work / living situation – I decided to start a new series – mood boards with affordable finds!
If you’ve been following along for a while – than you know that we move every few years for David’s job. For the last couple of months we’ve been in transition- David’s been working a few hours away and we’ve been back and forth. We should know soon where we’ll be for the next few years and that has me thinking about renting again and what our place might look like (though, probably with a little less pink, per David’s request 🙂

I’m loving the global vibe and I’m obsessed with the rug (super affordable too!) The chair is a little bit of a splurge, but it has great style, so I say worth it (especially, since it’s on sale now). Using less expensive items and spending on statement pieces is a great way to get the look you want while staying in budget.
